Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on November 19 1972 in London. She is a daughter of Chinese and French parents. As a child, she moved to Toronto, Canada, and has considered it her home since then. Her first job was as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to become an actress. Annuka made her acting debut in the film Black Robe of 1991. To honor her performance, she received an nomination to the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar. The films Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed and she also made guest performances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For 22 episodes she portrayed a pivotal part in John Woo's The Thief. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation followed in 2004 and is available on DVDVHS along with Resident Evil Apocalypse. She was given a larger series role in 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. Holt's career began with guest-starring roles on television as well as smaller movies. Holt then took the role of a leader in Hostages In 2013, as well as a supporting character the Netflix's House of Cards. She played Julie Han in the US remake The Returned in 2015 and was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
